In late 2007, despite working two and a half jobs, I miraculously found myself with some free time on the weeknights and weekends so I decided to launch a new personal website. At the time I had taken down my current portfolio site because it was extremely out of date and since I was not looking for a new job or new freelance gigs at the time I decided to launch a blog/site to promote independent music and art. I developed the logo and began looking for the best way to start a blog and decided on Wordpress. I found a theme that I really liked and wanted to modify, but the creator hadn’t updated it to include many of the things Wordpress had added, so I had to dig through some of the code and update it to function properly. I know some CSS and HTML, so styling side of it was not too difficult.
At the time of writing this I have 137 posts and about 8,000 page views, not too shabby.
